Danish design brand Vipp opened the doors to its 5th one-bedroom hotel: The Pencil Case.
The unit is in a Bauhaus-inspired building from the 1930s located in a former pencil factory on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, right across the bridge from the city center.
It consists of a 90m2 apartment tastefully renovated by interior designer Julie Cloos Mølsgaard who turned the place into a warm, inviting and artful accommodation for design-conscious visitors.
Vipp’s supper club is adjacent to the Pencil Case; it is a 400-square-meter venue for intimate dining experiences with rotating chefs from all over the world. But with the gorgeous fully equipped V1 kitchen in the apartment, you might want to stay in and prepare your own homecooked meal instead.
With such a beautiful interior, I know I wouldn’t want to leave!
I am loving the serene and warm palette of natural shades, with black elements that add just enough contrast.
An eclectic array of art pieces is mixed with furniture from Vipp’s furniture collection and invites guests to have a comfortable moment of quiet reflection while enjoying the beauty around them.
Room rates start at 1000 euros for two nights for two adults. Get more info here.
