The Scandinavian Take on a Greige Palette

, , , , , , By Catherine

Greige, which consists of grey with a hint of brown, is an earthy and elegant neutral. Walls in this understated hue make an unassuming backdrop for monochrome furnishings. Such soothing color palette creates a serene atmosphere, and a look that is warm, bright and sophisticated.

This home in Sweden is a great example. To bring character and create a rich, organic look, the stylists played with  ccessories in leather, wool, linen and wood. A few black elements add some punch and the right amount of contrast.

For a similar look at home, try to paint your walls in Hazy Skies, Balboa Mist or Abalone, all from Benjamin Moore.
