A new Menu Space opened in May 2018!

After showing you the Copenhagen outpost designed by Norm Architects, the Danish brand now has a showroom in the Big Apple.

Located in a loft-style apartment in a historic building, the showroom also doubles as the home of the brand’s area sales manager. It is filled with furniture, lamps and accessories from Menu, and as new collections are launched, the interior layout and décor will change on a regular basis.

“The idea is to keep Menu Space moving and ever-changing,” said Menu design director Joachim Kornbæk Engell-Hansen. “To have friends of the house and people we admire stop by on a regular basis and help shape the interior layout – ensuring that we always have a vibrant, creative, lively space that continues to inspire our neighbours, visitors, friends, clients, and designers.”

Judging from the pictures below, the showroom is incredibly stylish, in keeping with Menu’s Scandinavian aesthetic. The inviting space will also serve to hold meetings, product launches and other events.

Menu Space New York is open on weekdays and available to visit by appointment – I don’t have the contact details yet, but will make sure to update this post as soon as possible.

The Menu Space New York is not the only showroom/home featured on Nordic Design – Sofie Christensen Egelund of Vipp and model turned entrepreneur Camilla Vest.
