Paustian Transforms 19th-Century Bank Into Stunning Copenhagen Showroom

Danish furniture brand Paustian recently established another showroom directly on Strøget, a pedestrian shopping street in the heart of Copenhagen. It is housed in a stunning 1868 building, a former bank, renovated by Aarstiderne Arkitekte. Gorgeous original features have been preserved throughout, such as structural pillars, painted gold or in veiny marble, a vaulted ceiling, mahogany wall panelling, a chequerboard flooring and the bank’s old vaults.

It is a fabulous setting to discover Paustian’s products as well as a great retail space to shop for home accessories, fashion accessories and other lifestyle products by emerging and established designers alike.
