Petra Tungarden is the Fashion and Home Editor in Chief for Metro. She is also a blogger, stylist and entrepreneur. And this is her beautiful Stockholm home. She completely renovated the place, but preserved the apartment’s amazing original features. I mean, how cool is that tile stove? And look at the impressive mouldings, plaster cornices and millwork…!
She chose beautiful colours for her walls – I’m loving that shade of blue in the dining/living room, as well as the soft pink hue in the bathroom.
The interior surely reflects Petra’s glamorous tastes. There is a lot of velvet, marble and brass, as well as iconic design pieces. That brass Carousel pendant light by Lee Broom is quite a statement piece, right? I also spot a Snoopy lamp by Flos, Flash tables by Tom Dixon, a daybed by HANDVÄRK, black leather Series 7 chairs by Arne Jacobsen, IC floor lamp by Michael Anastassiades, a pink stool by Azucena, among others. Fancy!
