This beautiful little apartment in Bergen is a perfect blend of Scandinavian elegance and Japanese simplicity.
It was styled by Cathrine Bækken from Heem, a Norwegian design studio with a signature style that is all about “subtle minimalism”.
The decor is pared-back and uncluttered, adding to the serene atmosphere. The focus is on tactility and natural colors, materials, and elements – Wood, paper cord and sisal, ceramics, and stone.
It is small, but functional, with wabi-sabi aesthetics; Nothing too complicated, and perfectly imperfect. This would make a lovely pied-à-terre in the city!
