Norwegian company Jotun just revealed it’s Lady Color Chart 2018 during a much awaited event in Oslo. Called “Rhythm of Life”, the chart features 32 colors that were selected after months of researching global trends. The gorgeous shades are expected to influence the world of interior design; some have already been adopted by savvy stylish.
This year’s palette is divided into three themes:
- Silent Serenity, with earthy hues of sand, almond, cream, soft pink and muted peach, to help create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Lush Garden is all about the lush green hues we’ve seen lately; fresh, natural colours inspired by the botanical trend.
- City Motions, inspired by sophistication, functional minimalism and modernism of metropolis worldwide, with a based of blue nuances.
Here you’ll find inspiring pictures from the lookbook. They are styled by Norwegian duo Kråkvik & D´Orazio, and captured by Danish photographer Line Klein.
One of the setting for the shots is the home of Danish architect Jonas Bjerre Poulsen from Norm Architects (see my previous post about it here).
Multiple wall colors in the same room is something I used to avoid. But after seeing the pictures below as well as those from Ferm LIVING’s latest collection, it is definitely growing on me!
