Back in August I’ve revealed a big personal news: I am pregnant! I am due at the end of the month, and we are finalizing everything for the arrival of the little one. The nursery was definitely a fun project to tackle. I’ve pinned a lot of images and made numerous mood boards before we made up our minds on how to decorate.
The pictures in the banner above, among others, influenced our inspiration to come up with our boy’s nursery look. We went for a simple palette of white, grey, mint green and dark blue, warmed up with wooden accents and soft textures. It creates a serene and cozy atmosphere, and a Nordic style that we love.
Timeless design pieces were also a must. We wanted accessories that would still be relevant, interesting, cute, functional and/or usable in a few years from now, as much as possible. And I believe we succeeded!
Here are the fab finds we picked for the nursery.
