The Shop Directory is a curated guide to online shopping, and features my favourite online retailers.
I make it a personal mission to find the best boutiques of the web and to share to share them with you, while helping out entrepreneurs by giving them some of the visibility they deserve (read more about my motivation to launch the Shop Directory here). The shops featured in the directory all have been selected for their uniqueness, quality, style and product assortment. You’ll discover fantastic designs for your home that can be shipped right to your door. It’s design shopping made easy!
Here are five totally awesome shops I recommend you visit today.
Why I like it: I fell in love with mini mioche’s super cute and timeless assortment, their friendly and enthusiastic team, as well as their dedication to promote organic and locally-made apparel. This lovely Toronto-based shop carries its own label of quality and stylish basics for kids, as well as an edited best footwear, toys, books and gear for kids and their parents. I had the chance to interview Alyssa, the founder, a while back – She is an inspiring entrepreneur!
Why I like it: Falu Red is a great place to shop for some more traditional Scandinavian design with classic patterns. You’ll find handmade ceramics, tableware, textiles, ceramics, and some sweet Nordic treats. There is also a great collection of vintage finds you must check out!
Why I like it: You’ll find great home accessories from contemporary Nordic brands and designers to bring some hygge into your home. AtNo67 also won Best Online Shop in the category ‘Scandinavian Design’ at our Shop Awards 2015!
Why I like it: This is the place to go if you are looking for the very best Danish designs and to invest in iconic pieces. You’ll find masterpieces by legendary designers like Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Poul Kjærholm, and Verner Panton, as well as from much-heralded newcomers.
Why I like it: You’ll find a well-edited assortment of contemporary designers and independent labels. It stocks a wide array of great apparel and shoes, and since recently, a beautifully curated home collection.
