Tour an Urban Apartment in Converted Pencil Factory in Denmark

This apartment in Denmark is the home of VIPP  designer Morten Bo Jensen. Uniting urban style, sustainability and thoughtful design, it’s located in an old pencil factory. I’m a big fan of renovating old buildings, and former factories often make for an interesting backdrop for sleek design. Morten’s home is a perfect example of combining the old and the new; exclusive design pieces and recycled goods.

I think they are my most loved items in this chic, urban apartment. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are from VIPP, the dining room chairs are from Gubi, and the lamps above the table are by Butik Stranden – A shop in Copenhagen that restores and recycles old lamps. Any other favorites? Definitely the beautiful bathtub, and the neon orange dotted pillows (Ferm Living) in the bedroom. I have a weakness for any orange-grey combination. And sometimes it’s little things like pillows that tie a whole room together, don’t you think?
