I have a gem of a home for you today! It is located on the peaceful and idyllic island of Brännö, just off the west coast of Sweden. With its great architecture, clean lines and pine cladding exterior, the building is definitely an eye catcher. Inside, you’ll find bright and airy rooms, with large windows and a serene color palette. The interior is decorated with a beautiful simplicity, combining modern design with more traditional elements – The bespoke kitchen with a craftsman table is a good example. Add to the mix natural materials and soft textures, and you’ve got a cozy yet stylish, Scandinavian home. It also has a slight boho vibe, which adds to the casual look and feel – Perfect for a family beach retreat!
Notice the custom-built storage solutions and other elements in plywood that can be found throughout the place; another great way to inject a dose of warmth, character and interest to a room. I am definitely saving a few of these ideas for later!
What an inspiring island getaway. I can totally see myself spending the summer holidays here…
