Leaves are starting to turn, the air is crisp, and the earthy smells of fall have arrived… And I couldn’t be happier!
There is something so enticing about creating an inviting and cozy nest for the colder months ahead. And that is probably why I love this Gothenburg home – Such a lovely cocoon!
It oozes warmth and comfort, with a gorgeous, calming color palette and layers of textures. The apartment itselft is stunning to start off with, with spacious rooms, high ceilings and period features. The styling is on point, with Scandinavian design furnishings from different eras, as well as with items from IKEA and other large affordable retailers combined with exquisite pieces from iconic designers.
I am loving the dark shades used to create different moods around the home: Bright and soft grey in the main living area, an envelopping blue in the bedroom, a rich green in the dining room, and a fresh, light green in the bathroom. The lovely nursery also has its own look, with a gorgeous flowery wallpaper.
