A new exclusive hotel opened its doors in the Danish capital, the highly anticipated Villa Copenhagen. It is housed in a Neo-baroque building that once served as Central Post Office; one of the city’s landmarks, right next to the main railway station. The place was carefully renovated to create a stunning fusion of old and new, with modern design and architecture mixed with period features and historical charm.
Inside, you’ll find a restaurant, bar, gym, conference rooms, with a rooftop lap pool, gardens, and sauna. The is also an in-house bakery, a brasserie serving dishes inspired by Southern Europe and North Africa, a wine and cocktail bar, and an impressive glass-domed atrium. There are 390 hotel rooms and suites, all decorated with taste with rich materials and textures, with a warm and earthy color palette, dark wood, and hints of brass. The interior, created by Universal Design Studio, has a contemporary and refined style, and an understated luxury infused with nostalgia – Beautiful!
“(…) Villa Copenhagen is a reflection of a city that exudes sustainability, luxury, happiness and diversity, a city and thereby a hotel with room enough for everyone – both literally and figuratively speaking.”
The hotel also has sustainability at heart and is determined to redefine the industry. It is working with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and acting responsibly is at the core of everything they do.
“Conscious luxury, as we call it, is about enjoying everything life has to offer from unique experiences and unexpected encounters to quality food and inspiring surroundings, while at the same time taking responsibility for our actions and our impact on the planet.” – Find out more about the hotel’s sustainability goals here.
Villa Copenhagen is part of Nordic Choice Hotels, a leading hospitality group in Scandinavia and the Baltics.

“Danes have long been known for being the happiest people in the world. The Danish unpretentious approach to life, the ability to find joy in the smaller things and the appreciation of luxury in the shape of time, freedom, and quality. Villa Copenhagen embodies this view on the world and our courtesy and service reflect this. We are present and service-minded but not intrusive. The atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and friendly, humorous yet polite and personal.” – Villa Copenhagen
