Now that the Christmas decorations will soon be taken down and put back in the boxes until next year, we are contemplating the opportunity to refresh the look of our home to start off the new year on a uplifting note. We are thinking to simply shuffle around some stuff rather than buying new things, as one of our resolution for 2011 is to spend less…
The key is to be creative and to use old perfume bottles, gorgeous textiles, seashells, ceramics, vintage jewelry, and other precious objects collected over the years and/or passed on from generation to generation. Another tip: Mix and match colors, textures, patterns and styles for a personal look.
