Petra is my latest woman crush. The talented Swede is a mom and an entrepreneur with an impressive drive and impeccable taste. A total #girlboss. She is the founder of Betón, formerly known as Mini Mocks. Her name might sound familiar – She was one of the Instamoms I find so inspiring, presented to you in a post back in October.
Petra’s IG is truly beautiful and unique. She shares snaps of her family life, her studio and her holidays, and her captions always feel authentic… She is that cool, but approachable girl you want to be friends with.
“In the search of the perfect shoes for her toddler, I started to design and sew moccasins in the fall of 2013. After a lot of sweat and tears I had found the ultimate footware.” And that’s how she started designing moccasins (how cute are those Terrazzo moccasins?) and accessories for babies and toddlers. She selects toxic free, vegetable tanned leather for her shoes; only the “finest material to stand the wear and tear of moving little feet.” Every pair is unique and made with a lot of love, passion and care in a small atelier in Vöru, Estonia. She now also curates a selection of goods that compliment her aesthetics and mood. You’ll find it all online and at her store in Stockholm – The place is so stylish; whimsical, in an understated way; I am awed. I mean, look at those pics below!
I’m definitely stopping by next time I’m in the Swedish capital, and so should you!
