This nice Gothenburg apartment caught my attention recently. Filled with natural light, it has a serene quality to it, as well as stylish details like the herringbone parquet floor and an interesting palette of warm grey, blush, mint and white.
I’ll be honest, the décor is not entirely to my taste. I’m actually not showing you the whole place for that reason, but you can see it all here. Nevertheless, the interior has some great elements worthy of mention. For instance, I like the dining area – The combination of a Loop table from HAY with Wishbone chairs by Hans J. Wegner is a winning choice. The sculptural candelabra by Per Söderberg and the Äng vase from Klong, both on my wish list for a while, create a beautiful centrepiece. The living area has a great silk rug (click here for a similar one), pots by DBKD and Skultuna. Notice the fab wall-mounted media cabinet? It is from Danish brand Montana, which I recently raved about. The kitchen fronts and handles, as well as closet doors, are by Superfront. And there is a timeless beauty about a nice big slab of marble for a backsplash, am I right? That brass faucet is definitely a good pick, too.
