Pernille Lind is a talented interior designer. She is also one part of award-winning duo Lind + Almond, who is behind the gorgeous Hotel Sanders. She was hired to completely renovate a 190 sqm townhouse in the much sought-after neighbourhood ‘Kartoffelrækkerne‘, near the city lakes in Copenhagen. And the result is beautiful!

Originally built in 1880, the home’s charm and character were preserved, while its interior design was gently modernized with careful attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a dusty palette of olive greens, midnight blue and pale browns. A mix of vintage pieces sourced from around Europe, selected iconic Danish designs and bespoke joinery create a unique and elegant décor.

Enjoy the tour!

“Pernille’s creative approach is influenced by Scandinavian design aesthetics mixed with Asian decorative and material inspirations. She was brought up travelling the world and grew up in a family that appreciated crafted designs. Her grandfather ran a family workshop, upholstering furniture and supplied decorative materials. Her father an engineer, taught her the art of sculpture through bridges and magnificent rhythmic structures, and her mother having run two antique shops in Bangkok, taught her the value of objects with a story.” – Source
