A minimal family home overlooking the beautiful lake of Gentofte north of bustling Copenhagen. It was completely renovated with the help of Norm Architects.
Together with Danish cabinetmakers Kolon, they created a space that is anything but cookie-cutter, with bespoke solutions like built-in shelves, window seats, desks, and more.
The color palette and choice of materials – a blend of natural oak, walnut, mineral wall paint, and exposed beams original to the 1918 building – add warmth and interesting tactility.
The interior is light, airy, and elegant, with subtle contrasts and beautiful simplicity.
Enjoy!
