No Early Birds collection

We fell hard for Per Söderberg‘s No Early Birds collection!

The range consists of tables, shelving, stools and chairs; all with the iconic cross-leg structure. The design is simple but yet strong and elegant. We are definitely adding the bench to our wish list, though we would also like a table and a stool…

Materials used for the collection include vegetable-tanned Tärnsjö leather, waxed pine plywood, powder coated metal and brass. Everything in the collection is produced in Sweden, and all details, materials and surface treatments are chosen with great concern to environment, origin and sustainability. The materials are rich in contrast: vegetable-tanned leather, waxed pine plywood, powder coated metal and brass.

“The philosophy behind my furniture collection ‘No Early Birds‘ is to make conscious design, locally produced from natural Swedish materials” explains the Swedish designer.

“It is my conviction after all these years that we need products that are more personal and responsible. Being both the designer and the producer, I have a unique perspective on how my design decisions affect the final product. (…) My ambition is to create products that are caring, inspiring and emotional.” –Per Söderberg

you’ve probably “fell hard”, rather then “felt hard”, which belongs in blogs of different nature. keep on the good work though.
