Gubi Goes Italia: A Sumptuous Universe for the Danish Brand in Milan

I did not attend this year’s Design Week in Milan back in April, sadly. But with so many people reporting on the event via social media, it was possible to get a pretty good sense of the show without actually being physically present.

Danish design powerhouse Gubi‘s installation was a big highlight, with a luxurious universe set within the historical backdrop of Palazzo Serbelloni dating back to 1770. It was truly breathtaking.

I initially didn’t intend on sharing the news on Nordic Design at first, but I came across the pictures of this impressive tour de force by Gubi yet again this week and I was still in awe. Scandinavian design in a grand Italian Neoclassical palace, why not? Or rather: Yes, please!
