Joanna Laajisto, a talented interior designer and personal inspiration to me, recently shared her latest work on her IG account, giving us a peek into the newly renovated Finnish Institute in Paris. Located in a building dating back to 1862 in the 5th arrondissement, the organization is funded by Finland to promote the country in the French Republic. Joanna’s signature style, rooted in her Nordic heritage, was perfectly à propos for the institute’s café and boutique. The result is warm, natural, timeless and beautiful. You can spot beautiful wooden furniture from Made By Choice, including her Airisto benches, among others.

Visit it here:

To see how the Danes strut their stuff in the City of Lights, check out Copenhagen Restaurant and Flora Danica, both located at La Maison du Danemark.
