A design icon recreated

Inspired by the popularity of Mad Men, Holmegaard was inspired to dive into its design archives in search of inspiration from the hip 60s. That’s how they rediscovered this vase by Jacob E. Bang designed originally in 1965 under the name ’Antique Green Line’. Holmegaard has chosen to launch this vase in a opal white version, for its sleek shape and stunning details such as the clear glass base.

“Narrow at the waist, broad across the shoulders, free of extraneous details and dressed in a discreet white, it is almost sculptural in its simplicity. The small midriff is also helpful when arranging flowers, making even small bouquets look more abundant. ”

It is available in 14.8cm and 21cm tall.
