I hope you all had a nice weekend! I wanted to follow up on the Reader Survey many of you kindly answered last month. Many, many thanks for all your feedback! I’ve learned a ton, and I’m now preparing an action plan for 2018 that will be shaped by your comments. I’ll make sure to give you more of what you are looking for, and to improve where needed. You are contributing to the success of this site, and it is highly appreciated! As promised, I’m giving away a $50 gift card to one respondent; the winner will be randomly selected and contacted directly later today. Thanks again!
Let’s kickstart the week with a beautiful home tour. Cecilie Svanberg is the designer and founder of Mintstudio, a design studio that creates identities, websites, catalogues, lookbooks, illustration, and more. She also launched Atelier by Mintstudio, where she designs two annual collections of limited edition prints.
Born in South Korea and raised in Norway, Cecilie studied in Copenhagen at the School of Design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Today, she still lives the in the Danish capital city with her husband and three children. Their home is a beautifully renovated townhouse built in the late 19th century, in the charming community ‘Kartoffelrækkerne’ in Østerbro.
The interior is bright and fresh, thanks to a lick of crisp white paint on walls and ceilings. The floors were also kept light, and the glossy finish helps to reflect the natural light.
The place is effortlessly styled, with many vintage pieces, artwork and colourful accents, giving the home a relaxed and cheerful look. Inviting and personal, Cecilie’s home is truly lovely.
