The Beautiful Home of Danish Photographer Ditte Isager

Ditte Isager is a photographer we’ve been admiring since the beginnings of Nordic Design. Her inspiring work has been featured on the site numerous times. She is behind the stunning shots in the book ‘Noma: Time and Place in Nordic Cuisine‘, and her client list is impressive: Bulthaup, Hemtex, Bang & Olufsen, Fritz Hansen, H&M and Kinfolk, among others.

Here, we take a peek into her beautiful Copenhagen home, which she shares with her husband and son.

Her style is decidedly Nordic, with many design icons such as cognac leather Serie 7 chair and Swan chair by Arne Jacobsen, a daybed by Poul Kjærholm, a Spanish chair by Børge Mogensen, as well as lamps by Poul Henningsen, Christian Dell and GUI. The numerous artwork contribute to the place’s creative vibe. The coloured walls are a refreshing twist on the usual black and white Scandinavian look, and make a great contrast to the furnishings. Her studio is covered entirely with Dinesen planks; it is such a fantastic place!  I have serious workspace envy…

Enjoy the tour below, and head over to Goop to read more about her lovely home.
