Bergen is a gorgeous must-see town on the south west coast of Norway. With its colourful houses and surrounding mountains and fjords, it is quite picturesque. But when visiting, you have to be ready from some showers… because Bergen is notoriously rainy. But that shouldn’t stop you, right?
The climate is what inspired Stockholm studio Claesson Koivisto Rune when designing the Zander K Hotel, and the result is beautiful! Blue-tinted interiors with concrete, stainless steel, marble and wooden details… with Arne Jacobsen lighting, Thonet chairs, Artek stools, and custom furniture by Claesson Koivisto Rune. Rain symbols by Swedish illustrator Jesper Waldersten can be found throughout the hotel.
If you can’t stay there, make sure to at least stop by the stylish Foodbar for organic dishes paired with wine and beer from local microbreweries.
