I recently spotted this table lamp in my Instagram feed, and I can’t get it out of my head. The sculptural yet understated shape, and the minimal yet playful design reminiscent of a party-fan… The softness of the paper combined with the aluminum base, and the delicate glow it provides… I am loving it!
The Fold lamp was created by Thalea Schmalenberg and Kasper Friis Egelund, two promising and talented product designers based in Copenhagen. I can’t wait to find out which company will produce these, as they are sadly not yet available for purchase. I’ll update this article as soon as I know more!
