A graduate from he Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in Copenhagen, Danielle Siggerud is a young Norwegian architect that is rapidly establishing her eponymous firm as one of the most promising emerging practice in Scandinavia – And understandably so. Her style is characterized by clean lines, careful consideration for details, respect for craftsmanship, and timeless design. She has worked with British designer John Pawson, known for his minimalist aesthetic, and her clients list includes Royal Copenhagen and Menu, among others.
I found this gorgeous home in her portfolio. The MD Townhouse, located on Holmen in Copenhagen, was completely refurbished with strong architectural sensitivity. Danielle created a sophisticated and minimal interior, with tactile elegance. You’ll spot iconic design pieces like a Mantis floor lamp and chairs by Pierre Jeanneret, adding to the luxurious feel of the place.
