These unique pieces of furniture are made of wood waste and off-cuts from a factory in Denmark. How innovative!
Designed by Amy Hunting, a Norwegian furniture designer, the Patchwork collection is made in limited numbers, not mass produced. Hunting glued the fragments together before making them into a chair, storage unit and series of lamps. A successful composition of art and sustainable design.
Born in 1984, Amy studied design in Denmark and worked for Established and Sons before setting up her own practise in London. Based in a studio in East London she now works on developing and making furniture as well as working as a freelance illustrator. She is also the founder and curator of Norwegian Prototypes, an annual exhibition for new Norwegian furniture design.
