Here’s another great interior by talented Joanna Laajisto. It is Restaurant OX in Helsinki, an intimate eatery with a relaxed atmosphere. It serves simple yet delicious and beautiful food made from high-quality ingredients.
Laajisto used the menu as an inspiration for the interior. According to the chefs, the food is classic European with contemporary twists; a contrast Laajisto wanted to show in the styling as well. The heart of the interior is the open kitchen where all food is prepared. Corrugated metal wall panelling in a soft hue were used and combined with orangey red leather seats and marble tables. The chairs and bar stools are by Thonet, and the glass ceiling pendants are from Swedish brand Rubn.
All in all, this is a gorgeous interior and a great restaurant worth visiting!
