Purple. It is not the most popular color for interior design among Insiders (or the general popular, actually). This is a topic that we previously discussed inside the community a while back; I had started noticing that this color, in its light version, was increasingly present in influencers’ homes and design brands campaigns.
A few months later, well, what do you know! I’m officially calling it: Lilac is the biggest trend to have on your radar for this spring and summer.
Not only reserved for nurseries, kids’ rooms, or your dear aunt Barb, but it is also the perfect color to brighten up your space and have a little fun.
Lilac, hydrangea, orchid, lavender, amethyst… whatever you call it, this color is quite versatile, soft, calm, refreshing, a little feminine, and encourages creative expression. And I’ll admit, this emerging color trend is growing on me!
