Full of Finland

Tiina Laakkonen, a former model and now a fashion stylist who has worked for The Times, grew up in Imatra, a small town in Finland. Now living in New York City, this mid-20th-century converted barn is her country house in the Hamptons, but it is not a typical American coastal  cottage. Tiina made sure to incorporate a lot of accessories and design furniture from Finland: Prints by Marimekko, furniture by Ilmari Tapivaara/Artek, Iittala glass and tableware, Tikau rugs and lamps, etc.
