One of my favorite design brands EVER is Gubi. So, so, so many of their exquisite furniture and light fixtures are on my wish list and most of them have been for years. The Beetle chair, Semi pendant, Adnet mirror, Pedrera table, and Grasshopper floor lamp, are among them. Several of their iconic pieces have been designed over 40 years ago and yet, they are still seen as very relevant. As a global brand with clear Nordic roots, Gubi is dedicated to providing products with timeless aesthetics, impeccable craftsmanship and quality materials, as well as finding the perfect balance between retro and modern sensibilities.
For the second post in my “Color Lesson” series, I chose 10 truly beautiful combinations from Gubi’s latest catalog. I’m loving the muted hues of Burgundy red with nude, tan, terracotta, and even pastels. Add to the mix a hint of brass and you’ve got inspiring, trendy but totally workable color palettes.
