First designed in 1919 by Johan Petter Johansson and rapidly popular for its modernist look and superior function, the Triplex Lamp is today reborn by Mackapär – after decades of absence, popular for its industrial look and flexible use on auctions and flea markets world wide.

The Triplex Lamp is a Swedish design classic with a interesting history:  Two engineers, one in Enköping, Sweden, the other in Helsingborg, same country, shared the love for a lamp. A lamp with multipurpose use from its rigid design and adjustment possibilities rarely seen. The lamp was made with love for the art of engineering. One of them an inventor, a famous and  successful man.
