With the rising popularity of tiny homes, it is no surprise to see an increasing amount of architect-designed concepts that are both functional and beautiful.
We recently came across this cozy and minimalist little pods: Ark Shelters. They were conceived for people wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life and recharge. Measuring about 3.5 x 12 meters (about 450 square feet), the goal was to have as little environmental impact as possible and encourage people to have a simpler way of life.
It is possible to build these shelters entirely self-contained and off-grid, collecting rainwater from the roof and generating electricity with wind power. It is insulated and heated with a woodstove.
These small homes are prebuilt with a high-quality and durable wooden structure with large windows allowing people to connect with nature and to enjoy the views.
With a price tag of around USD $59,000, it makes an interesting and very stylish option for those looking for a modern mobile home!
