Founded by Darling Creative Studio, this new guest house in the heart of Copenhagen is a Danish design haven.
The Darling is an exclusive one-room hotel that doubles as a showroom filled with iconic design classics by Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Kurt Østervig, and Børge Mogensen, among others. Art from local galleries are on display, too. Everything you’ll see at The Darling is up for sale.
The interior was created to make guests feel like they are staying in someone’s home. It is charming, sensuous and sophisticated. I am loving the muted shades of blue used throughout the place, with the lovely contrasting accents in walnut and cognac leather – Beautiful!
You can now reserve your stay starting at €950 per night, and it can also be rented for meetings and private dinners.

Imagine this: You just finished a day’s work at your Nyhavn desk, and you’re drinking your coffee in Royal Copenhagen cups while comfortably sitting on a Poet sofa by Finn Juhl, your book perfectly lit by a Louis Poulsen lamp. On your way to the bedroom, you stop in the kitchen carefully crafted by cabinet maker Københavns Møbelsnedkeri to pour yourself a glass of water with a Georg Jensen carafe. Then you lay down in a DUX bed, fitted with Aiayu linens, but not before you spoil yourself with exclusive Rudolph Care x The Darling bath products in a bathroom clad with hand-painted tiles from File Under Pop…
Pretty awesome, right?
