The Stylish and Design-filled Home of a Swedish Fashion Editor

, , , , , By Catherine

This is the home of Daniel Lindström, the fashion editor of online magazine Café. His home, which he shares with his 3 children, has a cozy and cocoon-like atmoshphere, enhanced by the dark and moody palette. The grey walls are a great backdrop for the numerous original pieces by Scandinavian designers like Eero Saarinen, Poul Kjærholm, Alvar Aalto, Arne Jacobsen, and Børje Mogensen, among others. The place is also filled with books and beautiful photographic art – An inspiring and creative abode.

And checkout that fab terrace!

It’s all a bit grey… It suggests a fashionable modern equivalent of all those black-ash-and-chrome masculine interiors of the 1990s. I prefer something with a bit more quirk to it.

I can see what you mean. I do like the shot of the dining room though!

There is nothing here that is exceptional from a design standpoint. It reminds me of American flipper aesthetic. All neutral grey put out some fashionable books. Sloppy bed no furniture.
