So Table is a beautiful and sophisticated piece designed by Tsukasa Goto. It was launched at Design Trade 2014 in Copenhagen. His aim was to create the perfect mixture of past & present. He used premium grade Travertine plate, cut from the down slopes of Carrera, Italy, and combined it with smooth Poplar plywood which gives thin ink-pen like stripes on the sides. The name, So, means layers in Japanese and is referring to the years and time hold in the Travertine and the different layers in the wooden base.
The table is produced by Elements Optimal Denmark.
