The new Stockholm hotel Ett Hem (which simply translates to A Home in English) opened just over a month ago. Located in a classic town house built in 1910, designer Ilse Crawford had the challenge to transform the place into a cozy boutique hotel while keeping the house’s personality. “We wanted to continue the story of this house by giving it a meaning for the future”, says Crawford.
Ett Hem now has 12 beautiful rooms all with their own unique design, as well as all the services required by modern travelers. The interior is a beautiful mix of Scandinavian mid-century furniture and contemporary, understated elegance. We love the stylish simplicity of the place. It definitely looks like a place you can feel at home.
