New Kauniste

We are so pleased to present you the latest prints from Finnish brand Kauniste. We love all of their models, and we are very excited about these new ones too! We would not know which one to pick…

Recently released, their Autumn/Winter 2010 is fresh, playful and oh-so-sweet. We totally dig the tea towel with the ‘Korvapuustit’ pattern designed by Leena Kisonen, as it has the recipe for Scandinavian cinnamon rolls printed on it. Yummy!

Kauniste also worked for the first time with Bjorn Rune Lie, a Norwegian illustrator: “We have been admiring his playful designs for quite some time, so we are very happy we get to print his bird design on fabric.” – Milla, from Kauniste

Designed and hand printed in Finland, Kauniste’s tea towels are inspired by the Finnish kitchen linens from the 60s’ and 70s’. Kauniste was established in 2008, and work with young Scandinavian designers to create beautiful long lasting textiles.

Mix of cotton and linen. Size: 47 x 70 cm
