The Fine Food Mat & Kärlek is located in Stockholm’s exciting new area Hammarby Sjöstad. Designed by Note Design Studio, the place is a mix of a café, lunch restaurant and bistro, which was a challenging combination for the designers, but I think they’ve nailed it!
The designers were inspired by a beautiful photo series of Death Valley, by American artist Jordan Sullivan, and the colour palette is chosen to match the colourful variations of natural light in the mountains. The end result is a clean, calm and dreamy space, in warm pastels. Very inviting and cosy, yet modern and trendy.
Note the fantastic use of green marble and herringbone floor tiles – A fantastic duo!
It is definitely a must when visiting Sweden’s capital city.
