Elinno Design Tableware

, , By Catherine

“The delicate feeling while touching it, the distinctive sound when the cup meets the saucer, the filigree floral design” – This is how our friend Igor from Happy Interior Blog introduces his readers to Elinno Design  tableware, and it is exactly why we love this gorgeous find too!

Elinno Design is a unique blend of Finnish design and traditional Chinese craftsmanship: A refined bone china combined with lovely, sophisticated patterns inspired by classic art and nature. It was established in 2008 in Finland by Liang Liang and Anni Paunila who met while studying. The idea for this unique collaboration happened over a cup of tea! Together, they aim to create designs that coming generations can be proud of, something that could be passed on. This year, both designers won the Finnish design prize MUOTO2011 for ‘Best Tableware’.
