Swedish designer Markus Johansson has designed this sophisticated and beautiful chair called Colibri for Swedish brand HansK. Inspired by Nordic stick back chairs, Colibri is still quite classic, with its wooden texture and organic shapes, but contemporary at the same time.
In addition to its gorgeous looks, Colibri offers its owner a chance to get involved in the design process. While buying the chair you can choose from a range of different combinations: four different bases, four different backs and four different arm rests. The seat can be either textile or bonded leather. Even the wooden surface has four different kinds of finishes: white lacquered birch, dyed black elm, oiled natural oak or blonde oak. With so many options, Colibri meets everybody’s wishes!
To accompany the chairs there’s also an elegant table made of massive oak with a table-top in melamine.
Easy going and fresh with a hint of tradition, it’s the perfect chair for a dining room, living room or working space!
