Danish studio Norm Architects revealed its latest project, a London sushi restaurant with a luxurious look and feel referencing Japanese design and Danish design heritage. Located in the posh Chelsea neighborhood, the new Sticks N Sushis is a large space that can welcome 220 guests.
.
The restaurant is divided into three floors, each with its own style – although all very cohesive – and different moods. From a warm, intimate and private dining room on the lower floor, all the way up to a bright and sophisticated open space, passing through a welcoming, elegant and industrial-inspired area at the street level; They are all connected with a sculptural blackened steel staircase.
Classics, such as Carl Hansen & Son chairs punctuate the place.
.
Natural materials, rich textures, a monochromatic palette, careful details, custom woodwork… It is a chic and timeless eatery that will definitely be on my must-see next time I am in London.
