Following my article series on how to choose the right white paint color, I’ve received a few emails from Insiders looking for something a little creamier.
So here below I’ve gathered nine of my favorite off-whites, all warm, bright yet earthy beige tones from sand and clay to tan and linen. You will find calming shades that work well as neutrals.

My Top Picks:

Best warm off-whites, all from Benjamin Moore:
1. Classic Gray 1548
2. Grandma’s China CSP-365
3. Gray Mist 962
4. Pale Oak OC-20
5. Plaster of Paris CSP-185
6. Wind’s Breath OC-24
7. Picket Fence CSP-370
8. Skipping Stone CSP-155
9. York Gray CW-45
If you want something lighter with just a hint of beige, try Swiss Coffee OC-45 (from my favorite whites) at full strength.
Remember: A room exposure and lighting will have a big impact on how the color looks like. So revisit these 8 mistakes to avoid when choosing a paint color, an article mainly written for whites but the advice is applicable for any hues.
If you don’t have access to Benjamin Moore paint colors in your region, let me know and I’ll happily help you find an alternative.
