The Best Black Table Lamps

By Catherine Lazure | Nordic Design

Women have been told by countless fashion observers that a little black dress (commonly abbreviated LBD) is a wardrobe essential – It is simple but versatile.

I believe this is a great rule of thumb to apply to your home, too: Everyone should own a sleek, elegant black lamp. No matter what your style is or if you prefer bold colors or a tone on tone look, you will never go wrong with a “LBL” (see what I did there?). With its neutral color, it blends in perfectly or makes a beautiful statement. It adds just enough contrast, and there will always be a corner of your home that can benefit from extra lighting – A nightstand, a console, a side table, a mantel… A staple, really!

Here, I’m sharing with you my go-to table lamps. I have used this list countless times at work, as a reference guide. These models are often featured in the homes you see on Nordic Design; they are designer-approved, timeless, and versatile.
