Browsing through new product collections, campaign images, and recent interiors by top designers, I started to notice a shade that is increasingly used – Olive green. I am officially ready to bet it will the next big thing, and I am here for it!
I am not always sold on trends and prefer simple, neutral furniture and accessories that will stand the test of time. But during the few months confined at home, I must admit I slightly grew tired of the monochrome look, longing for a pop of color that would brighten up my day. And olive green is a beautiful color for fall and beyond.
It is a rich hue that evokes nature, and it is classic, sophisticated, and serene. While it varies in hue and saturation, it always has that brown undertone that gives a soft, enveloping, and warm atmosphere to any room. It pairs well with black, marble, brass, copper, and wood.
