Back in 2015, Pantone claimed Marsala was the colour of the year. Not everybody liked the hue and opinions were very divided. Fast forward a few years later, we are a still seeing this shade in interior design and home accessories – People are loving it, as well as anything with red undertones. Burnt oranges, terracottas, and warm coppers were omnipresent last year, and the trend is not going anywhere in 2019. The craze for rust is here to stay, and I am one of the fans! Who’s with me?
Tip: For an elegant and harmonious look, go tone-on-tone; try layering different hues rather than sticking to only one color. Below, I’ve selected 32 fab finds to help you shop and incorporate the trendy shades into your home.
