Trending: Muted shades of Red

Besides the terrazzo and woven cane trends, shades of red are also a la mode!

In 2015, Pantone claimed Marsala was the colour of the year. Not everybody liked the hue and opinions were divided. It seems it has grown on people, as more and more home accessories in similar tints can be seen in interiors these days. Not only is burgundy increasingly popular, but so are shades like burnt orange, terracotta and rust – All slightly muted, which is very elegant and perfect for the season. Plus: A tone on tone look creates a more harmonious decor in my opinion than sticking to only one color.
