Sponsors Quarterly Roundup #4

, , By Catherine Lazure | Nordic Design

It’s the end of the year already, and I wanted to take a moment to show my appreciation and thanks to my sponsors of the last couple of months. With their support, they contribute to making Nordic Design possible, and they facilitate the development of the blog. And I’m so grateful.

Thank you all!

One Must Dash
One Must Dash is a lovely company created by two Swedish ladies, Anneli and Anki, both wishing to “celebrate the quirky moments of everyday life”. Their ambition is to make decorative products that will make you smile. You’ll find cheerful and fun typographic art prints, cards, bags, and tea towels, mainly in a black and white color scheme. “So what´s the thing with the moustache? We both LOVE it. Enjoy it. Laugh at it. Admire it. Have parties with it. The moustache is the true essence of our idea – decorative AND a little bit funny.” Visit them today!

BASIS Home is a new online store in The Netherlands, owned and run by my friends Daphne and Fleure. They sell the beautiful prints by Hagedornhagen and home accessories by Louise Roe, among others. They are still a very young startup, but have already gotten a good amount of success – And I’m sure it’s only the beginning! Get over to their shop to discover their curated assortment (in Dutch only).

This is one of the sweetest shop for kids I came across in a long time! Based in London, Bimbily owners are from Sweden and are big fans of Scandinavian design, so their assortment includes colourful products for children’s decor and baby essentials from the Nordic countries. They also have an interesting selection of high quality international brands too. “We think childhood should be filled with magic in abundance, and try to sprinkle as much of it as possible on our shop and our selection of goods.” –Bimbily.

Nordic Design Collective
Jenny and Maria handpick products from independent and upcoming designers for their shop, Nordic Design Collective, and by shopping with them, “you also support passionate designers and make the world prettier, smarter and a better place”. They source beautiful home accessories, art, jewelry and accessories for kids. It’s the perfect shop for those looking for something different, unique and Scandinavian.

DeepFLING carries an assortment of covetable Scandinavian lines of jewelry and fashion brands such as Kum Kum, Liebeskind, Pilgrim, Odd Molly and Swedish Hasbeens, among others. The mid-century modern influence is obvious, but it’s playfulness that strongly characterizes DeepFLING’s assortment. A strong passion for what’s beautiful and objects that bring joy are what drove owners Malin and Kevin to choose the name DeepFLING for their store. You’ll be seduced by their curated assortment.

The Minimalist Store
We love The Minimalist Store because its owners source unique, limited edition and designer made product from around the globe, and they are all about “buying better”, quality and style with a handmade touch. Owned and run by design lovers Leah and Darius Taylor + Liban Akil, The Minimalist Store is filled with products they would proudly have in their own home! Hauswerk represents unique exclusive products from both famous designers and upcoming designers: Base 212, Tina Ratzer, Malene Helbak, Mette Scherning, Kähler, Sen Sen, Oy Oy, Finnsdottir, Kristina Krogh, My Buemann and many more.

Rove Concepts
Rove specializes in the upper range of reproduction designs. Rove set in place a vision and philosophy that beautiful icons of furniture design should not be an elusive possession only affordable by the few. In the same spirit, they are equally adamant that all replications of these designs should remain faithful to the original intentions. This means that quality in material and construct should never be a compromise, and this is what  sets them apart from competitors. Discover their beautiful products here.
