Since I’ve shared this house on Nordic Design, I’ve been obsessed with dark walls.
A lick of dark paint can transform a room and add drama. It helps creating a sense of comfort and luxury. Finding the right hue might be a challenge, but the key is to accessories with bright items and to use decorative lighting. Elements of contrasts will warm up the place and make it look like a home rather than a dungeon. The aim should be to create a modern and elegant space.
I don’t know if I have the guts to paint my house in such dark hues, but I’m definitely in awe when looking at these stunning pictures below. Just like me, they might make you consider a quick, but bold, home makeover.
