Classic Danish Villa

, , , , , By Catherine Lazure-Guinard

The owners of this villa in East Jutland, Denmark, bought the waterfront property and completely rebuilt it from ground up. Still, they wanted to combine the old and the new, and included several features characteristic of traditional Danish villas: High ceilings, gorgeous wooden floors, elegant doors, detailed moldings, etc. We love the tile stove (kakelugnar) in the living area, the soft hues across the house, the numerous design pieces, and the large kitchen. Beautiful!
